You’re buying a limited edition, full-color, laser reproduction of this original poster from a Lucero show booked by Matt Cole and Matt Robinson at the legendary Court Street Pool Hall (RIP) in downtown Tupelo, Mississippi. Magic marker, fingerprints, bends, warts and all, digitally reproduced on fine card stock, 11” x 22”.  (BYOB: SoPro Light cans not included.)

The date of the show was March 24, 2001 — 20 years ago as of the repro date.

Court Street Pool Hall was the very last place where Rock and Roll was still dangerous, ironically located in the alleyway behind the store where it was born.

This was Lucero’s first show in Tupelo, and one of their earliest shows outside of Memphis. It came during a golden era of DIY shows at Court Street. In that same spirit, proceeds from your purchase will be reinvested in Tupelo’s thriving DIY skate scene.

David Wilson tattooed a bicycle on Brian’s arm and a swallow on Ben’s wrist before the show at TCB Tattoo, (predecessor to the mighty Ironclad Tattoo Gallery), and we all got signed 7-inches of My Best Girl / I Kissed the Bottle.

Jumpin' Gene Simmons was in attendance that night, as he was bellied up to the bar most nights at Court Street, and I remember him hollering out his approval over and over between slugs of Fighting Cock.

The original poster by Co-op Show Print is on permanent display (NFS) at Change Skateboard Shop & Café in Tupelo.

Thanks to Lucero for coming to town that night and so many good times after. Thanks to everyone who came out that night 20 years ago, and kept on going to Lucero shows all over the country. I can’t wait til we can do it all again.

Available in-store and online on the 20th anniversary of the show: 03/24/2021.
